What a marathon! All that research and colour scheme decisions made. I chose to try metallics instead of NMM for I was impressed at Martin Footit's metallics effort. I regret the decision as NMM would have looked so much nicer, especially since there had been so much effort invested in the freehand.
Colours were purposefully chosen to be limited. Green, gold, grey, white. This decision was inspired by Cyril Abati's widowmaker captain.
The runes on the back of the cloak are Tolkien's Sindarin for "A star shines upon our meeting." Bad planning lead to a wrap around of the 3rd last rune and truncation of the last 2. The 3 runes on the front bottom corner are just from the high elf book.
At this stage, the shading on the sword and gold areas are still lacking control and smoothness.
