Painted in 22hrs in 2 days! That's what happens when I'm sick and have insomnia.

This was basicallly an exercise in painting techniques and conversion. I've wanted to do a plague for quite some time, just for the sake of practicing techniques so I can apply them later for serious paintjobs.

With the conversion, the legs and torso are old style marine parts. I wanted to practice some mold making from scibor's tutorials. This was applied to imprinting the two faces on his shoulder pads. The hydraulic cables were someting I liked as I had seen it some artwork.

I used Cyril's plague marine tutorial as a basis for the armour colour. This mini was also my first practice at using sponges for doing the chips in the armour. I experimented with blues and purples for the skin on his head. The zenithal highlights on the armour could have stretched down a bit more, but that's something I learned from this piece. I had heaps of fun converting and painting it for sure.
