Painting time: 10hrs.
The base is a resin forest base by Micro Art Studios.
The metal parts were painted using mithril silver. Then washed twice. The first wash was VGC charred brown + black with some Matisse Derivan 'surface tension breaker'. The second wash was GW scorched brown with the STB. The instructions for the STB recommend 10% of it to water, which is what I used. I then used a moist stiff taklon to rub off some of the glaze in raised areas or areas where the metal would look shinier. You can rub off in this manner even after a few hours of applying the wash. The STB must have some amazing retarding qualities.
I used jade green instead of scaly green to stain the metal armour parts. This time I did not add white for highlights although I should have for sections like the disc on the elbow where the green was not only a thin line.
